研究目的：

评价新癀片外敷对急性痛风性关节炎患者的关节疼痛的疗效及安全性。

Objectives of Study：

To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Xin Huang Pian skin-patches for patients with acute gouty arthritis.

药物成份或治疗方案详述：

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

纳入标准：

1. 符合急性痛风性关节炎的诊断标准（2012年美国风湿协会版）； 2. 年龄在18-70岁，愿意参加试用并签署知情同意书； 3. 急性关节炎部位≤ 3个关节； 4. 目前没有使用可能影响试验的其他外用药物。

Inclusion criteria

1. Met the diagnostic criteria of Acute Gouty Arthritis by American Society of Rheumatism in 2012; 2. Aged 18-70 years and provided informed consent; 3. Acute arthritis limited <= 3 joints; 4. No current use of external use medications that may affecting the trial.

排除标准：

1. 疼痛关节的局部有皮肤破损或感染； 2. 对外用中药有皮肤过敏史； 3. 患有可能影响结果判别的疾病，如肿瘤、精神疾病、心脏衰竭或血友病等； 4. 妊娠妇女； 5. 因其他疾病正接受中药治疗的患者； 6. 对试验的依从性较差者。

Exclusion criteria：

1. Joints skin breaks, lesions, or infections; 2. Skin allergy history to external use of CHM; 3. Diseases such as cancer, mental disorders, heart failure, or hemophilia that affect results determination; 4. Women with pregnant; 5. Being treated by CHM for other diseases; 6. With a low compliance to the study.

一位未参与研究过程的独立的统计学工作人员准备并管理随机数表。采用SAS 9.4 生成随机数表。

Randomization Procedure (please state who generates the random number sequence and by what method)：

After collected the baseline data, all the patients will be divided into XHP or DDE group by coded randomizations by an independent nurse. SAS package 9.4 will used to produce computerized random number.

盲法：

双盲。在治疗过程中，护士分为两组。1组护士用相同外观的黄色包装无菌纱布制备两种药物。2组护士用配制好的药物对所有患者进行外敷。 以上护士均不参与数据分析。盲法一直保持到研究结束并解锁数据以进行分析。

1.研究数据的纪录及保存方式（原始记录、电子CRF等）：纸质数据专人管理收集；电子数据专用电脑专人设置密码的EXCEL电子表格管理数据； 2.数据质量保障措施：电子数据一式两份，两名数据管理员各自录入和保存数据，并定期核对和复合数据; 3.数据的质量控制方法：分析数据前，数据管理员交换数据进行核对；定期稽查研究。

1. Data collection and management (original records, electronic CRF, etc.): paper data is managed and collected by a dedicated person; electronic data is managed by an EXCEL spreadsheet with a password set by a dedicated computer. 2. Data quality assurance measures: Electronic data is in duplicate, and two data administrators enter and save the data respectively, and check the data regularly. 3. Data quality control method: Before analyzing the data, the data administrator exchanges the data for verification and regular inspection.
